LogoThe Faculty of Humanities at the University of Tübingen invites applications for the position ofassistant (junior) (W 1, non-tenure track)professor of Modern Taiwan Studiesto commence as soon as possible.The selected candidate is expected to carry out teaching and research on modern and contemporaryTaiwan, with a particular focus on social science-based approaches.The position will be filled on a salaried base and is initially limited to four years, with the possibilityof extension by a further two years after a positive interim evaluation.The position has a teaching load of four hours per week prior to interim evaluation and sixhours thereafter.The selected candidate will teach in German or English.
