There has never been a more exciting time to join the wind power sector, and we now have an opportunity for a Project Director / Senior Project Manager to join our business supporting our offshore windfarm construction projects. You will be responsible for the timely delivery of Offshore Wind Farm projects according to the commitments made to our customers and the internal expectations to safety, quality, time and budget. The projects are part of large infrastructure construction projects and our customers are among the biggest utility companies in the world. Project duration can be several years and budgets above 1 billion. How You’ll Make an Impact You will join a diverse Project management team and play an important role in a multi-cultural organization within the UK Offshore Wind industry. This is varied role in which every single day will be different, brings new challenges and responsibilities. Some of the main areas you will lead are :Managing the project throughout the project construction life cycle until construction completion with full profit / loss responsibility for results. Setting necessary measures to ensure zero harm in health, safety and environment throughout the project. Ensuring compliance to standards, rules and regulations.Working closely with our customers; actively communicate with customer’s senior representatives and managing customer satisfaction, expectations and issue resolution.Leading your project team; guide, support, motivate and develop team members to achieve project / organization goals.Delivering projects safely within the framework of company guidelines, mitigating the commercial, contractual and project risks. Driving business case, schedule and quality optimization and seek opportunities.Ensuring optimal technical and commercial solutions to overcome challenges.
