Packaging Specialist (m/f/d)
With your technical expertise and strong quality mindset, you’ll take our packaging solutions to the next level. You will develop new packaging systems for spirits, optimize existing processes, and ensure the highest standards of quality and food safety.
Your responsibilities:
* Develop, test, and implement new packaging systems for spirits products
* Define and create specifications for packaging and materials
* Ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards (IFS, HACCP, GMP)
* Support optimal machine settings in the production environment
* Train operational teams in handling packaging materials
* Lead and support technical projects in the packaging area
* Introduce and manage statistical quality control systems (SPC)
* Actively contribute to the new product development (NPD) team
* Maintain the packaging specification database and enter data into SAP (MDM process)
* Prepare technical reports and analyses to optimize packaging processes
* Manage packaging material claims, including:
* Investigating non-conformities detected at goods receipt or during production
* Handling material issues reported by the Bottling department (e.g. from line audits)
* Preparing claims documentation and sending it to suppliers
* Leading discussions with suppliers and overseeing preventive and corrective action plans
Your Profile:
* University degree in engineering, production technology, packaging design, or a related field
* At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar role
* Strong understanding of technical drawings and measuring devices
* Knowledge of statistical process control and packaging quality
* Experience with SAP and MS Office (especially Excel)
* Confident English skills (written and spoken)
* Personal strengths: independence, teamwork, communication skills, and decision-making ability
