We’re looking for an Operations Launch Engineer to support high‑impact operational launch activities in a fast‑moving environment. This role is critical to ensuring new products and processes are successfully tested, launched, and handed over to operations teams within fulfillment centers.
🔹 Role Overview
Operations Launch Engineers (OLEs) work against defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that outline critical launch requirements and required onsite testing. You will lead execution on the ground, acting as a key link between engineering, product, and operations teams to ensure smooth and successful launches.
🔹 Key Responsibilities
1. Participate in mandatory training provided by TEKsystems Global Services (TGS) and/or the client
2. Lead onsite test execution and coordinate closely with operations teams
3. Communicate and escalate onsite issues to Product Launch Managers, Program Leaders, Product Managers, and Operations stakeholders
4. Audit onsite roles and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and simplification
5. Support operations teams with training and the definition of best practices
6. Contribute to weekly testing and launch reports
7. Collect and relay Voice of Customer (VoC) feedback to drive product and process improvements
8. Embody leadership principles in every aspect of the role
🔹 Required Skills & Background
9. Strong technical leadership capabilities
10. Familiarity with hardware, firmware, robotics, automation, or systems engineering
11. Hands‑on troubleshooting in operational or production environments
12. Solid understanding of process management and operational workflows
13. Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering and operations teams
14. Fluent English (German is a strong plus)
15. Ownership mindset aligned with an Amazon leadership culture
