Management of the QC department, including responsibility for budget and personnel Ensuring the timely QC testing of relevant materials (e.g., raw materials, intermediates, drug substances, finished drug products) Responsibility for method qualification/validation Ensuring and organizing the qualification of QC laboratory equipment Ensuring that adequate and trained personnel are available to perform QC functions Reviewing key KPIs for performance monitoring and driving improvement initiatives Drafting, reviewing, and approving QC protocols and reports Ensuring that OOX and deviations are appropriately investigated and resolved Leading customer interactions for all QC-related projects, including method development, method transfer/validation, and updates to routine tests Providing technical support during customer audits and inspections Collaborating with Manufacturing, QA, QP, and other QC departments to ensure smooth operations Participating in cross-functional collaboration to meet project timelines and material procurement requirements Participating in cross-functional collaboration to meet project timelines and material procurement requirements Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in the area of quality control and GMP, preferably in the biotech sector 5 years of experience in a leadership role strong sense of responsibility toward people, processes, internal and external customers, and timelines fluency in German and English interpersonal and leadership skills agility and strong communication skills ProSphere.
