We are currently looking for our future Supply Materials Senior Manager (m/f/d) Casing Plants based in Blieskastel for a permanent contract.
As Supply Materials Senior Manager (m/f/d) you will manage all materials in all Hager casing factories to secure the realisation of Hager promises worldwide in terms of finished product availability within all sales channels at the best cost for Hager. Your scope are all casing plants world wide from components to finished goods and from vendors to Hager DC or direct to customers.
Your mission
* Design, implement and execute various materials flow within each casing plant to secure the proper production of make to stock, make to order, engineer to order products and intercompany flows according to customers needs
* Plan production casing plant capacities and schedule production orders to optimise production while securing customer service
* Synchronise all components, raw parts and semi-finished products flows with manufactured Finished Goods, to optimise availability and inventory levels
* Inform the organization on availability dates manufacturing
* Deploy strategy mid/ long term for the scope and deploy this strategy in each casing site
* Support the implementation of the new supply chain processes defined by the top management to support the evolution of the business
* Identify organisation gaps and adapt it to match with the long term vision
* Integrate new entitites according to Hager Group strategy
* Manage an international team of +/- 6 managers with a team of 6 to 10 people
* Contribute to team development by enhancing team competences, improving interpersonal and communications skills, identifying team training & competences needs, and evaluating results
* Supervise, lead and delegate tasks and authority
* Build and maintain efficient network relationships
Your profile
* Master degree in Economics or Engineering with focus on Supply Chain/ Logistics or comparable education
* Minimum of 10 years work experience in a global Supply Chain environment, with complex and interconnected supply and production planning processes
* You worked already in a reactive, complex, international and transversal environment driven by continuous improvement / lean, problem solving and ISO 9001, 14000 & 18000 norms and with ERP systems
* Profound knowledge of process: "Supply the finished products" and of sub-processes: "Sales & Operations Planning", "Operational Planning", "Priority & Urgency Management"
* You have got experience in Production Planning, S&OP/SIOP, Inventory management and optimization
* You are ready to take over the budget responsibility and resource management
* You speak fluent English (C1) and either fluent German and/or French language skills would be an advantage
* With your strategic and solution-oriented mindset you focus on lean principles and reduce non-added value activities
* You have got strong leadership and communikcation skills to build strong and transversal collaborations with internal and external departments
* You have the ability to set up a Continuous Improvement mentality in an international and decentralize environnement
* Your customer-orientation and your adaptability enable you to offer the best service in a dynamic environment
