In this diverse and responsible role, you will shape the legally compliant and ethical use of AI within the Hessian Ministry of Finance. You will ensure that AI solutions meet regulatory requirements—from conception to implementation. Join a team that combines innovation and responsibility.

Your responsibilities:
</h3>
<ul>
<li>
Regulatory Assessment: Analysis and classification of AI applications with regard to the EU AI Act, GDPR, ethical guidelines, and BSI standards (200-1 to 200-3) of the IT-Grundschutz framework.
</li>
<li>
Compliance Design: Development of security concepts and technical guidelines to integrate AI systems into existing IT infrastructures in a compliant manner.
</li>
<li>
Interface management: Collaboration with data protection, IT, and business departments to translate compliance requirements into practice—from risk analysis to implementation.
</li>
<li>
Innovation Support: Evaluating new AI technologies for security, transparency, and regulatory compliance, and deriving measures for use in the finance sector.
</li>
</ul>
<h3>
What you bring to the table:
</h3>
<p>
A successfully completed academic degree (university diploma or master’s degree) in computer science, law, business informatics, or related disciplines with a focus on AI, compliance, or information security, or a comparable qualification that enables you to perform the relevant duties.
</p>
<ul>
<li>
Expertise in the following areas, as evidenced by employment references:
<ul>
<li>
AI architectures, risks, and potential, in order to define appropriate security requirements.
</li>
<li>
Data protection law, the EU AI Act, and ethical frameworks for compliance auditing.
</li>
<li>
BSI IT-Grundschutz and its application to AI systems.
</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
Analytical and communication skills
</li>
<li>
Team orientation: Enjoyment of collaborating in interdisciplinary teams as well as managing and supporting cross-departmental coordination and project processes.
</li>
<li>
Diversity competence – valuing diversity and promoting an inclusive work environment.
</li>
<li>
Excellent German language skills (spoken & written).
</li>
</ul>
