Description
* Design and develop software for the Test & Simulation Framework (TSF) in C++
* Develop GUI components for the TSF frontend
* Design, implement and independently execute unit tests; perform code reviews
* Apply state‑of‑the‑art technologies, tools and software engineering principles
* Actively contribute to virtual engineering (mixed simulation & real hardware environments)
* Provide 2nd‑level rig support for AIDASS / MaTE and the simulation framework SI²
* Support customers in application development and system testing
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
* Support software teams regarding concepts, technologies and best practices
Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
* At least 3 years of experience in IT / information systems
* Strong knowledge of software design, architecture, design patterns, system programming and cross‑platform development
* Basic understanding of networking, fieldbuses and distributed systems beneficial
* Experience with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) desirable
* Excellent C++ programming skills (modern standards)
* Good understanding of version control systems (e.g. Git)
* Knowledge of Qt, MFC or Eclipse RCP is an advantage
* English & German: business fluent
* Analytical, structured and solution‑oriented mindset; strong team and communication skills
