The mission of the thermal systems business group is to develop and manufacture systems, modules and components to ensure thermal energy management of the power train and comfort for each passenger, during all phases of vehicle use. These systems help to significantly reduce fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and other pollutants and harmful particles from vehicles equipped with internal combustion engines. They also increase travel range and battery life for hybrid and electric vehicles. At the Front Office in Bietigheim-Bissingen we are supporting Sale- and Project activities and compose the interface between the customers Daimler and Valeo-internal departments at the development from Thermal Systems.
Tasks
* You manage team induction, competence development, and autonomy through training and follow-up actions.
* You ensure adherence to safety, work instructions, and quality standards, escalating issues as per protocols.
* You lead meetings, annual reviews, succession planning, and promote continuous improvement.
* You foster a positive work environment and recognize team achievements.
* You enforce health, safety, and environmental rules, and oversee equipment maintenance.
* You ensure customer satisfaction, SQCDM performance, and profitability by meeting and improving targets.
* You lead daily problem-solving, ergonomic risk elimination, and action plans to enhance SQCDM metrics.
* You contribute to project industrialization, ensuring smooth startups and layout optimizations.
Profile
* You have a master’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics, Production, Industrial, Mechanical)
* You have several years of professional experience in the production area
* You have very good knowledge of MS Office
* You have knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, TPM, Standard Work, 8D etc.)
* You have very good analytical skills, as well as the ability to solve problems
* You have very good communication skills
* You speak German and English fluently
