The Opportunity:

We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives.
CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed,Network Engineer, SME. This position is in support ofthe EMITS 2 Task Order Supporting USAREUR-AF Mission Partner SAG-U, located inWiesbaden, Germany.
Responsibilities:
1. Develops, designs, and implements robust, secure, scalable, and high-performance classified and unclassified network solutions that meet operational requirements and security policies
2. Develops and implements Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) pipelines and supports Development, Security, and Operations (DevSecOps) processes IAW DoD and industry security and engineering best practices, standards, tools, and techniques
3. Provides IT communications services, including planning, designing, engineering, operating, maintaining, defending, and employing services
4. Maintains networks to ensure 24x7 availability of critical systems on NIPR, SIPR, TS/SCI, intelligence, and communication networks, and supports Command and Control (C2) infrastructure
5. Provides troubleshooting of incidents and problems, including developing work-arounds to return services to functioning status
6. Sustains the transmission or communication path between geographically separated users and devices
7. Plans, designs, installs, maintains, troubleshoots, resolves problems, and performs network asset management of Cisco switches and routers; Brocade switches and routers; Juniper routers, switches, and firewalls; Cisco firewalls; proxy servers; Intrusion Protections Systems (IPSs); and encryption devices
8. Configures VPN tunnels on Cisco, Brocade, and Juniper devices and configures TACLANES
9. Maintains COMSEC account(s) in support of the installation of encryption keys
10. Provides systems engineering planning and support for Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
11. Provides migration and transition support to implement approved engineered solutions
12. May assess and evaluate emerging policies and technology and make recommendations for network and system updates that improve the efficiency, effectiveness, availability, and security posture
13. Evaluates and tests COTS and GOTS applications and hardware for integration into networks
14. Applies measures to secure applications and hardware and ensures the network remains within ATO compliance
15. Contributes to development and/or maintenance of deliverables, such as operational guidelines, user guides, and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) documentation (DEL 19)
16. May attend and participate in strategic discussions related to emerging technologies, network and system technology insertions, and project planning
17. Leads projects for technology insertions and network updates
18. Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments
19. Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives
20. Possesses domain and expert technical knowledge
21. May supervise others
Qualifications:
22. Currently hold an adjudicatedSecret Clearance and be able to maintain
23. BA/BS +13 years recent experience
24. Certification– 8140 - CCNA or GCIA or GCLD or GDSA or GFACT or CASP+ or CCNP Security or CCSP or GCED or GCIH
25. Demonstrates mastery of network engineering principles, with extensive experience in classified and unclassified environments, preferably within DoD and intelligence sectors.
26. Possesses comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps processes, and cutting-edge network technologies, ensuring robust implementation across complex infrastructures.
27. Exhibits strategic expertise in planning, designing, and engineering IT communication services, troubleshooting critical systems, configuring advanced network devices, and maintaining 24x7 availability of critical systems on NIPR, SIPR, TS/SCI, intelligence, and communication networks.
28. Showcasesproficiency in evaluating emerging technologies, leading network update projects, and applying expert-level technical knowledge to complex assignments, including maintaining COMSEC accounts for encryption key installation.
29. Excels in developing comprehensive network documentation, operational guidelines, and security compliance measures.
30. Demonstrates leadership skills in project management, strategic planning, and potential supervision of technical teams.
31. Demonstrates extensive expertise in systems engineering principles, with proven experience in analyzing, designing, and implementing complex IT networks and communications systems across classified and unclassified environments.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$115,600 - 254,200 USD
