As it navigates a period of strategic transition, the company is seeking an experienced Interim GM to lead the team and drive operational excellence.
Role Overview
The Interim CEO will provide strategic leadership during a critical phase of growth and transformation. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Interim CEO will oversee all aspects of the company's operations, ensuring continuity, efficiency, and alignment with long-term goals. This is a hands-on role requiring a dynamic leader who can step in quickly and make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute short-term strategic plans to optimize production, supply chain, and market positioning.
* Lead the executive team in managing day-to-day operations, including manufacturing processes for glass and metal components.
* Drive financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue growth initiatives.
* Foster relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and clients in the European market.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental sustainability practices.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation in product development.
* Prepare the organization for a seamless transition to permanent leadership.
Qualifications
* Proven experience as a CEO, COO, or senior executive in manufacturing, preferably in glass, metal, or related industrial sectors.
* Strong understanding of production technologies, supply chain management, and international trade.
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams through change, with a track record of delivering results in interim roles.
* Excellent financial acumen and strategic planning skills.
* Fluency in German and English; additional languages a plus.
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
* Availability for full-time commitment in Munich, with flexibility for travel as needed.
