Environmental Compliance Team Coordinator (m/f/d)
About the Role:
As an Environmental Compliance Team Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting multinational clients in meeting their Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations.
You will lead a small team of Environmental Compliance Data Analysts, ensuring excellent service delivery, smooth communication with customers, and efficient internal processes across the Reconomy Group.
This position combines hands-on customer management, process coordination, and team leadership — ideal for someone who enjoys stakeholder communication, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
Your key responsibilities:
* Lead and support a small team of Environmental Compliance Analysts, ensuring balanced workload distribution and professional growth within the team.
* Act as a primary point of contact for key customers, ensuring a high-quality and consistent service experience throughout their EPR compliance journey.
* Coordinate and review the preparation and submission of EPR compliance reports to schemes and national authorities across Europe.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with the Regulatory Monitoring and IT teams to optimize data processes, reporting accuracy, and system functionality.
* Identify and improve processes related to customer service, reporting workflows, and regulatory updates.
* Mentor and coach junior team members and new joiners, fostering a culture of learning, accountability, and collaboration.
Your Profile:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, ideally in sustainability, environmental management, business administration, or a related field.
* 2–4 years of experience in EPR, Environmental Compliance, or related service delivery functions.
* Proven experience in customer communication and stakeholder management, including challenging situations.
* First leadership or coordination experience — with a strong ability to motivate, guide, and develop others.
* Comfortable working with data management tools and Excel; open to engaging with internal IT systems
* Strong process and project management mindset; enjoys structure, problem-solving, and optimization.
* Proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented — someone who takes ownership and ensures customer satisfaction.
* Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
