Senior Quantity Surveyor - Berlin, Germany

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an National Construction and Property Consultancy.

Location: Berlin, Germany

Salary: €65,000 - €75,000

The Role:

The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a National Construction and Property Consultancy who are looking to expand their Commercial Team in Berlin. Their project scope includes a range of hochbau projects, such as Commercial, Logistic, Industrial and Public buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cost planning and budgeting across all project stages, ensuring commercial control from feasibility through to final account.
• Manage procurement strategies, tender processes and contract negotiations to secure best value for clients.
• Oversee contract administration, including valuations, variations, claims management and final accounts.
• Produce and present accurate financial reports, forecasts and cash flow analyses to support informed decision-making.
• Act as a key commercial interface with project leadership, ensuring alignment between cost, programme and delivery objectives.
• Collaborate closely with clients, consultants and contractors, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities, ensuring projects are delivered within budget.
• Support continuous improvement of cost management processes and commercial best practices.

Requirements:

• Qualified in Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management (essential – must be a formal QS qualification).
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within office, retail or comparable building developments in Europe.
• Strong understanding of cost management, procurement and contract administration within building projects (non-infrastructure).
• Excellent English communication skills (essential); German beneficial but not required.
• Ability to work in an international environment, engaging with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Commercially driven, detail-oriented and confident in managing project finances independently.
