The Lufthansa Aviation Training Pilot Academy GmbH in Rostock-Laage is a renowned training center that accompanies Lufthansa Group pilots during their approximately 24-month training journey. We are seeking a committed Aircraft Maintenance Assistant to effectively and enthusiastically assist our Technical staff in upholding the highest standards for our Training fleet.
Tasks
1. Assist in maintaining and repairing aircraft engines, avionics systems and aircraft components
2. Support in conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks and ensuring that maintenance records are accurately maintained
3. Assist in the testing and calibration of aircraft systems and components
4. Help in the installation and removal of aircraft parts and components
5. Support in the cleaning and upkeep of aircraft and maintenance facilities
6. Assist in ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements related to aircraft maintenance
7. Help in maintaining an organized and clean work environment
8. Assist in the ordering and inventory management of aircraft maintenance supplies and materials
9. Operate all related ground handling equipment utilized to service the

Requirements
10. High school diploma or equivalent
11. Professional appearance and attitude
12. Basic understanding of aircraft systems, structures, and components
13. Familiarity with aircraft maintenance tools and equipment
14. To have good communication skills
15. Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
16. Proficient English is required for this role
17. Knowledge of German language is desired but not mandatory
18. Possess a valid driver's license
19. Ability to obtain a security clearance (ZUP)

While aspiring pilots receive their theoretical training at the Bremen location, the practical flight training takes place in Rostock-Laage.
