PhD Research Topic: Comparative chromatin analysis of supernumerary and standard chromosomes
Objectives: Compare the spatial distribution and chromatin composition of standard A chromosomes and supernumerary B chromosomes. This work will complement ongoing molecular profiling of the epigenetic and transcriptional states of A versus B chromosomes. Your qualifications and skills:
1. You hold a MSc degree (or equivalent) in biology, biochemistry, crop science or a related field from a non-German university at the PhD start.
2. Practical experience in chromosome and molecular biology is strongly desirable.
3. Applicant must not have resided or worked in Germany during the last three years (or less than 12 months)
