Your mission
The Michelberger Hotel & Restaurant hosts and serves Berliners and their guests since 2009.
Our Team creates a wide array of experiences tailored to the needs and desires of the occasion across a variety of hotel rooms, event & public spaces. In our restaurant, café/bar we serve the best local produce, sourced from a sustainable network of farmers, hunters and suppliers we trust, as well as from our own Michelberger Farm, a food forest in the Spreewald/Brandenburg.
The Michelberger Family additionally includes the ORA Restaurant, Bistro THEKE, MXPSM Distillery, the PEOPLE Festivals as well as the Beverage company Fountain of Youth.
We are looking for reinforcement for our FO team
* Responsible for an outstanding guest experience from first contact to billing in collaboration with all departments (Reservations & Revenue, Housekeeping, Technical, F&B)
* Welcoming guests with check in & saying goodbye with check out
* Host in the hotel
* Responsible for requests and instructions before and on arrival, as well as during the stay
* Concierge tasks and looking after our guests (hotel offer, city offer)
* Pre- and post-processing of arrivals and departures (guest requests, guest and company profiles, invoicing)
* Email processing for guest requests, payment information, reservation enquiries
* Complaints management
* Ensuring a smooth daily routine at the front office
* Operating and looking after the fire alarm system
Your profile
* Independence, personal responsibility and passion in dealing with guests
* communicative
* German (min. B2) & English fluent,
* 3rd foreign language an advantage
* Stress-resistant character and capable of multitasking
* Quick comprehension and affinity for IT systems
* Experience at the reception desk or in the reservation department of a hotel is an advantage
