Job Description: Within the Mission Systems organization, we want to incorporate to our team for the Eurodrone Program a recent graduate with experience in Software Development. The capabilities and the added value to our customers are based on Planning the Mission, Sensor Management (RADAR, Cameras, etc), Image Processing, Data Analysis/Processing/Dissemination, Communications and Weapons management. Main Tasks: Design and develop software products for the Ground Segment functions Provide Data management solutions (networks, avionics and open platforms) Manage the Mission and Mission Plan Insert state of the art technologies in the implementation of new capabilities matching the required safety, quality and performance levels according to Airbus systems engineering processes and the needs of our customers Document and verify the developed solution Validate the solution by executing defined tests and test means Collaborate in the Project Agile Ceremonies as Team member supporting problems resolution, planning and deliveries. Participate in any Software Life Cycle reviews and provide required data Required Skills: Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent 2,5 years of experience in Software Development is mandatory Requirements Engineering experience is recommended Model Based SW Lifecycle knowledge is recommended. Network management basic knowledge is required Knowledge in Java Programming language is mandatory Eclipse RCP knowledge is a plus, Eclipse RCP knowledge, and QuarkusFX is a plus. Linux and Windows good knowledge is appreciated, Linux environment for development Experience in backend development with Quarkus, software middleware (DDS) and containerization (Podman) Knowledge in FTP/HTTP/Stanag protocols GIS Technologies knowledge is a plus Image Processing knowledge is appreciated Experience in working using Agile methodologies is required. Language skills: Fluency in English, German is recommended The candidate should be autonomous on the competencies described and will participate in all the stages of the Software Development lifecycle, from Requirements to testing, being able to creatively develop the assigned component. Workplace will be Ingolstadt, at least 3 days per week on-site. Home office available upon agreement.
