Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team and contribute to the characterization and validation of microbiome-borne virulence factors implicated in human diseases, with a particular focus on cancer.
Role Responsibilities
* Determine the effects of identified virulence factors using in vitro and in vivo assays and investigate underlying mechanisms.
* Contribute to developing new methods and assays to study virulence factor functions.
* Participate in and contribute to microbiome- and cancer-related projects.
* Ensure scientific quality management and comply with quality assurance standards.
* Actively participate in meetings and present results within monthly consortium meetings.
* Collect, manage, and analyze data.
* Present results in scientific publications and summarize findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
* Perform experiments for the Infectome project.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a PhD in Biological Sciences or a related discipline. Prior professional experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher is preferable. The successful candidate will also possess proficiency in cell culture techniques, molecular biology techniques, and data analysis.
Key Skills

* Proficiency in cell culture techniques.
* Experience working with purified proteins and performing related assays.
* Experience conducting animal (in vivo) experiments is an advantage.
* Competence in molecular biology techniques such as real-time PCR, FACS analysis, and Western blotting.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
