Overview
PM Group are seeking an experienced Construction Engineer / Materials Controller for a large-scale pharmaceutical project in the greater Frankfurt region.

Responsibilities
1. Coordinates with PMG (PM Group) and Procurement on free-issue Equipment schedules, delivery, storage, receipts, site inspection and issue to installation contractors
2. Reviews procurement schedule and expediting report weekly with PMG and procurement and highlights any concerns relative to ROS (Request on site) dates for construction
3. Manages/co-ordinates Equipment vendor site services.
4. Manages/ liaises with PMG Design / Procurement arranging attendance at / coordinating SAT'S, pressure testing and witnessing, etc.
5. Ensure GRN’s (Goods Received Note) are complete where required
6. Manage contractor performance for specialized installations
7. Ensure construction compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards
8. Special tasks as assigned
Qualifications
9. Degree level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline
10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
11. Substantial experience in large-scale pharmaceutical, industrial and/or mission critical construction projects of which at least 3 years of construction site experience in Germany
12. Logistical and Materials handling experience is essential
13. Knowledge of EU GMP requirements, an understanding of German construction regulations, pharma facility licensing requirements, and European regulatory compliance standards - would be ideal
14. Fluency in German (B2+) and English skills (B1+)
15. Valid work permit for Germany
16. Flexibility to work on site
