Network Engineer for Professsoinal Service Development (m/f/d)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our Professional Service Development team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in network technologies, network security, cloud computing, and ideally AI to design and develop innovative professional services that that complement the Philips Patient Monitoring solutions.
You will work in an agile environment, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Product Owners and Service Architects to deliver new service products which increase productivity of our regional service organizations and improve customer satisfaction.
Your role
* Design and develop professional services focused on network engineering, security, and cloud integration for healthcare environments.
* Ensure compliance with Philips Patient Monitoring network and security standards.
* Collaborate within an agile team to define requirements, create service concepts, and deliver high-quality solutions.
* Collaborate with other agile teams to align on service design and build
* Provide technical guidance and best practices for Healthcare IT infrastructure, including network and cloud security and network resilience.
* Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of services into customer environments.
You’re the right fit if
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is highly valued.
* Proven experience in network engineering, network security, and cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar).
* Strong understanding of network protocols (802.11, TCP/IP, IGPs – OSPF, EIGRP, ISIS), network design, and security principles.
* Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
* Experience with virtualization platforms and containers (VMWare, Nutanix, Hyper-V, Docker, Podman).
* Familiarity with Philips Patient Monitoring solutions and their network/security requirements.
* Strong understanding of agile development methodologies .
* Knowledge of AI concepts
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams.
* Strong communication skills and commitment to inclusive, respectful teamwork.
* 5+ years of experience in solution and service delivery.
