You will focus on the delivery to ensure the progression of the Innovation Units portfolio of IT, digital initiatives, and investments to advance science and improving clinical success!
We are looking for individuals with strategic mindsets, analytical skills and innovation orientated.
Within this role, you will be expected to drive the development and refinement of KPI’s, metrics to assess progress, health and impact of the portfolio. With your overview on the entire portfolio, you will drive the identification of gaps in our digital capabilities and will develop proposals for strategic initiatives.

* Within your role, you will manage the innovation unit’s portfolio of IT, Digital Initiatives and data acquisitions- providing regular overviews including scientific use cases, value proposition, impact and alignment to strategy to the overarching governance body.
* You will be responsible for coordinating and preparing regular reviews of the entire portfolio, facilitating and supporting strategic planning and decision making. e.g. cross-domain business case analyses, summaries of identified strategic gaps, and provisioning of outside-in perspectives.
* With your expertise, you will support portfolio budgeting and coordinate access to resources and capabilities for all portfolio initiatives to ensure their successful implementation.
* You will prepare regular communications about the portfolio and individual initiatives on a regular basis
Further expectations:
* PhD in Computer Sciences, Bioinformatics, or a related field
* Several years of professional experience in pharma R&D and working in multifunctional teams
* Experience in (matrix) leadership as well as pronounced leadership skills, including coaching, challenging and guiding
* Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, time management skills, and initiative required
* Strong business acumen for pharma R&D
* Excellent communication and analytical skills as well as intercultural experience
* Long term experience in (strategic) consulting
