We are seeking a highly experienced and technically skilled Business Development Manager to drive growth in the polymers additives portfolio across the EMEA region. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical knowledge of polymer additives with strong commercial acumen and a proven ability to build lasting customer relationships. Role Overview This role focuses on leading strategic initiatives to qualify replacement products, reduce dependency on key principals, and deliver innovative solutions to high-potential customers. The position requires extensive experience in polymers additives, a strong understanding of market dynamics in Western Europe, and the ability to collaborate effectively with Account Managers to achieve sustainable growth in P&R and CASE sectors. Key Responsibilities Provide advanced technical support to Account Managers and customers, ensuring optimal polymer additive solutions. Introduce and qualify replacement products to strengthen portfolio resilience and enhance customer performance. Engage in consultative customer visits to identify opportunities and deliver tailored solutions. Manage and prioritize a robust pipeline of projects aligned with business growth objectives. Develop impactful proposals, presentations, and workshops showcasing innovation and sustainability. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental standards. Qualifications & Experience Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Extensive experience in polymer additives and technical sales within the EMEA region. Proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with both management and operational teams at key prospective customer organizations. Proven track record in business development and project management for polymers and related markets. Strong technical knowledge of additive technologies and ability to influence decision-makers. Excellent communication and presentation skills; fluency in English and additional European languages preferred. Ability to travel across EMEA to support customer engagements and strategic initiatives.
