1. perform stress analysis of metallic or composite of primary and secondary components by means of hand calculations and/or FEM
2. write structural substantiation reports that meet the technical requirements of the program and certifying authority
3. liaise, manage and provide technical direction to offsite suppliers
4. provide stress support to other areas of the organization, including Design, Production, Flight Test, Quality Assurance and Airworthiness
5. ensure that the technical content, quality, compliance and safety aspects of any technical data is documented in accordance with internal standards and guidelines

YOU...
6. have a master degree in aeronautical engineering, alternatively a similar degree or an adequate education / experience in the aeronautical industry
7. have a strong knowledge of the fundamental principles of stress analysis of metallic and composite structure and a good understanding of aircraft structural load paths and experience with analysis methodologies for various primary and secondary structural components
8. have the capability to set-up an FE model based on DMU or design principles and advanced skills with the following pre/post processor & solvers: Nastran, Hypermesh and Patran and are experienced with classic hand calculation stress methods (e.g. Niu, Bruhn, ESDU, Roark & Young, HSB)
9. have the understanding of civil aircraft certification rules and experience in certification procedures, ideally with CS/FAR 23
10. have ideally experience with Fatigue & DT analysis of airframe components and the experience using Siemens Teamcenter PLM Software (version 10.x)
11. have several years engineering experience in stress analysis
12. have very good knowledge of spoken and written English language and ideally very good German skills
