As a Process Engineer Packaging (m/f/d) specializing in pharmaceutical and biotechnological process design, you will join a highly qualified team at our regional office in Bad Homburg, where knowledge sharing and collaborative work are fundamental. Explore your tasks and responsibilities
* Serve as a process planner for packaging processes based on active‑ingredient production using biotechnological manufacturing technologies.
* Contribute to all project phases, from concept development to execution, including installation supervision, commissioning, and qualification.
* Document customer requirements, support concept development, and present results to internal and external stakeholders.
* Define technical process requirements and support the creation of layout drawings, process flow diagrams, and material flow analyses.
* Prepare technical tender documents and support equipment and IT software selection through commercial and technical bid comparisons.
* Collaborate in interdisciplinary teams and act as the interface to piping, I&C, automation, and utilities engineering.
* Provide on‑demand support and reporting to the Lead Process Engineer (Logistics or Packaging) and participate in risk analyses (e.g., HAZOP, FMEA).
Show your expertise
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, industrial engineering, computer science, business administration, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, or a related field.
* Certification in GMP/GIP packaging standards and experience in logistics or packaging engineering projects, ideally with at least two years of experience.
* Strong IT affinity and solid understanding of logistics processes, including experience with systems such as SAP IM/WM, Navision, Insite LMS, or similar tools.
* Analytical mindset, strong communication skills, and enthusiasm for working with diverse stakeholders in an international environment.
* Professional, supportive, and results‑driven working attitude with a proactive and solution‑oriented approach.
* High stress resilience, strong attention to detail, and a self‑driven mindset combined with effective team collaboration skills.
* Fluency in German and English, written and spoken.
* Willingness to travel up to 30%.
