1. Closely coordinating with clients on project plans, budgets, and outcomes
2. Analyzing in detail the potential for optimizing our clients’ inventory management with a view to improving their working capital
3. Dentifying parameters of crucial importance and establishing sustainable inventory planning and optimization activities
4. Implementing solutions together with the client’s project management teams
5. Deploying your broad-ranging expertise to help achieve multi-echelon inventory optimization or DDMRP-based inventory optimization
6. Guiding clients through the entire project cycle – before, during and after implementation
Bring your experience.
7. At least five years’ experience in supply chain management at a leading consulting company or comparable consulting experience
8. Competently managing workstreams in a senior position with extensive experience in at least one of our key industries
9. In-depth knowledge of inventory planning; knowledge of the corresponding optimization approaches and methods
10. Wide-ranging project experience successfully optimizing inventory valuations, from the product design to implementation
11. Skilled in multi-echelon optimization or demand-driven materials requirement planning (DDMRP); corresponding certification would be greatly welcomed
12. Experience converting traditional inventory planning methods to DDMRP. An ability to factor in relevant change management processes when achieving this would be advantageous
13. Ideally: a degree with a very good academic grade in Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, or any other degree course relating to supply chain and logistics would be preferred
14. Excellent written and spoken English language skills; business fluent German; other languages would be welcomed
