PAYBACK combines e‑commerce with one of the largest loyalty ecosystems in the DACH region. You won’t be working on a standard online shop, but on a platform model with millions of users, partners, and data points.
YOUR ROLE
1. You take end‑to‑end ownership as Business Owner for the PAYBACK e‑commerce shops (Rewards & Vouchers) in Germany and Austria
2. You jointly develop strategic revenue and growth initiatives with Sales and Marketing and are responsible for their execution in the shop
3. You drive the continuous evolution of the shops — from frontend user flows to backend processes, data structures, and system integrations
4. You act as the central interface between Product, Tech, Data, and external partners (shop systems & payment providers), ensuring smooth operations and continuous optimisation
5. You define business requirements, prioritise roadmaps, and steer implementation along clear business objectives
6. You own the KPI‑based steering and optimisation of the shops and derive data‑driven actions
7. You ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements (e.g. legal, data protection, security)
YOUR PROFILE
8. Several years of experience in e‑commerce, ideally in a shop or platform environment with ownership of business and product topics
9. Strong project management skills and experience managing complex initiatives in a structured way
10. Very good understanding of digital business models, shop systems, payment processes, and how they interact
11. High data and KPI affinity, with a solid understanding of relevant e‑commerce metrics
12. Ability to clearly translate requirements between business and IT, combined with strong stakeholder management skills
13. An entrepreneurial mindset, high level of ownership, and the drive to truly move things forward
14. Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken
