Position Title: Site Manager – Data Centre Fit-Outs
Location: Frankfurt region, Germany (4-5 days on-site) Sector: Data Centre Infrastructure / CSA Interior Fit-Out
Position Overview
We are seeking an on-site operational leader to manage day-to-day construction operations for complex interior fit-out projects across Europe’s most advanced data centres. From the first shovel in the ground to the final inspection, you will be the boots-on-the-ground leader responsible for keeping every activity safe, efficient, and on schedule.
Your core focus will be realizing a comprehensive CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) interior package—including the installation of structural ceilings, internal walls, raised access flooring, Hot Aisle Containment (HAC) systems, and other critical architectural fit-out elements. You will coordinate subcontractors, lead toolbox talks, and log daily progress via digital project management platforms as your primary cockpit. Your arena will be flagship infrastructure projects where you will spot issues early, resolve them quickly, and keep clients, project management, and site crews perfectly aligned.
Collaboration & Teamwork
You will work shoulder-to-shoulder with on-site Supervisors, Logistics & EHS Managers, QA specialists, BIM/Engineering teams, and Quantity Surveyors. You will be responsible for feeding real-time progress updates directly to the Project Manager and regional Operations Director, ensuring clear communication and tight coordination so every discipline moves in lockstep.
Candidate Profile
We prefer to look at your overall capability rather than strict, rigid categories. However, our best estimate is that you will need the following to be successful:
* Experience: Hands-on experience managing on-site construction or high-spec interior fit-out work—ideally within data centre, cleanroom, or other mission-critical environments.
* Site Management: Strong grasp of EHS regulations, QA/QC standards, and document-management best practices.
* Subcontractor Control: A proven talent for coordinating multiple subcontractor trades and keeping fast-track schedules on track under real-world site conditions.
* Technology: Familiarity with digital site-management tools; direct experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or BIM platforms is a strong advantage.
* Languages: A good command of English is required. French is a big plus, and Polish is a secondary advantage for managing regional crews.
* Mobility: High mobility and a willingness to spend significant operational time on-site across Germany and the Netherlands as project demands shift.
* Mindset: A pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset with the confidence to steer site crews and suppliers toward safe, high-quality execution.
