The newly established Coatings Cybersecurity organization within the BASF Coatings division is a strategic initiative designed to safeguard digital assets, ensure regulatory compliance, and support innovation across global operations. In your new role, you join our BASF Coatings Cybersecurity Team, tasked with overseeing internal and external cybersecurity requirement frameworks for the Coatings division.
Your responsibility includes maintaining an up-to-date regulatory requirement framework and disseminating this information to our global organization.
Conducting risk assessments of our assets, auditing third party service providers and accompanying audits of our own processes are additional key elements of your responsibility.
Your role also involves continually enhancing our organization's cybersecurity approach to help secure BASF Coatings.
master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field with preferably 5-6 years of experience and at least 2-3 years of experience with regulatory frameworks, risk assessments and audits
experience of international cyber security standards and regulations (such as BSI IT Grundschutz, ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-34, ITIL, GDPR, NIS2, TISAX, etc.)
experience in cyber information security and risk management, along with knowledge of pertinent norms and standards and their practical implementation
Teamplayer with exceptional communication skills to effectively engage and coordinate with stakeholders throughout the organization in both written and spoken German and English
