Our client, a leading international retail organisation, is seeking an experienced Compensation & Benefits Expert to support the development and optimisation of their reward structures across Europe. The position can be based in Munich, Ingolstadt, or Düsseldorf, with a hybrid working model.
The role focuses on analytical, project-based work and offers the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing modernisation of compensation frameworks, job architecture, and benefits programs in a complex, matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse and optimise compensation structures and job evaluation systems to ensure market competitiveness and strategic alignment.
* Support annual compensation processes, including salary review and performance-related pay cycles.
* Advise HR Business Partners and management on national compensation frameworks and related policies.
* Prepare and interpret HR metrics, data analyses, and management reports to support strategic decision-making.
* Coordinate internal and external reporting related to compensation and benefits.
* Conduct feasibility analyses and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Compensation & Benefits portfolio.
* Provide subject-matter expertise on company pension schemes and related benefits topics.
Profile:
* Strong analytical and structured working style with attention to detail and data accuracy.
* Solid experience with compensation frameworks and grading systems, ideally including Hay or Willis Towers Watson methodologies.
* Proficiency in SAP HR, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field.
* Proven ability to communicate effectively and manage stakeholders across functions.
* Several years of professional experience in Compensation & Benefits, ideally within an international corporate environment.
* Fluent in German and English (both required).
