Group Tax Manager (m/f)
Located in Bissen / Luxembourg
Your responsibilities would include:
* Ensuring compliance with local tax laws in various jurisdictions (e.g., VAT, corporate income tax, withholding tax)
* Staying updated with OECD guidelines, EU directives, and U.S. tax reforms
* Conducting regular tax compliance audits to ensure the accuracy of all tax filings and payments
* Ensuring arm’s length pricing for intercompany transactions
* Participating in the development and optimisation of transfer pricing policies to align with business strategies
* Collecting and consolidating financial and tax data across entities
* Ensuring accurate and timely submission of CbCR reports
* Interpreting and applying the OECD’s Pillar Two rules
* Calculating Effective Tax Rates (ETRs) and identifying top-up tax exposures
* Monitoring changes in the global tax environment and adjusting strategies accordingly
* Identifying and mitigating tax risks in cross-border operations
* Conducting internal tax risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies
* Advising on cross-border structuring, M&A, and supply chain planning
* Collaborating with business units to develop long-term tax planning strategies that support overall company objectives
You would need to meet the following requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
* Professional tax qualification (e.g., CPA, CTA) preferred
* Minimum 5 years of experience in international tax compliance
* Strong knowledge of OECD guidelines, transfer pricing, and CBCR
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Fluency in English (spoken and written), German or French is considered an asset
