Summary/Objective Job Title : Cloud Administrator (m/f/d) Reports to: Director of IT Operations Department: IT Primary Location: Office location Berlin (on-site only) FLSA Classification: Full-Time We are seeking a pragmatic and proactive Cloud Administrator (m/f/d) to join our global IT team. This role will take responsibility for the day-to-day administration and optimisation of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services, while also supporting on-premise data centre operations such as backups and Windows server maintenance. As part of a globally distributed team, the Cloud Administrator (m/f/d) will play a key role in delivering secure, reliable, and high-performing infrastructure. You will collaborate with internal IT teams and developers to ensure cloud and hybrid systems are robust, well-governed, and aligned with Tentamus’s wider transformation strategy. This is a fully on-site position at our Berlin office. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not part of this role at this time. Primary Responsibilities Administer and optimise Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services across the organisation Manage identity, access, and security policies in line with compliance standards Maintain and monitor on-premise infrastructure, including Windows servers and backup systems Provide technical support and expertise to internal IT teams and development teams across the group Assist in the documentation and enforcement of infrastructure standards and operational processes Apply DevOps practices to improve deployment efficiency, monitoring, and operational automation Contribute to capacity planning, patching schedules, and service availability improvements Support Tentamus’s broader cloud adoption and digital transformation initiatives Required skills and qualifications Demonstrated experience administering Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 Proficient in Windows Server maintenance and backup solutions Strong understanding of cloud security, identity management, and compliance Familiarity with scripting (e.g. PowerShell) Holding one or more relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g. AZ-104, MS-100, MS-101) Clear understanding of networking and cloud infrastructure fundamentals Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Bicep, Terraform) Exposure to hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments Familiarity with containerisation, automation, and cloud-native monitoring tools Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001 or GDPR Written and oral fluency in German (Level C1), English language proficiency is a plus Important note: Please be advised that a valid work permit for Germany is required for non-EU citizens.
