Beschreibung

At Fraunhofer ILT, we are developing a novel, compact technology for the ultra-fast, automated deflection of laser beams. This opens up new applications for high-power laser sources in industrial production.
To further develop this technology commercially, we are looking for an entrepreneurial individual who can translate technological innovation into marketable applications, build customer relationships, and tap into new markets.
The goal is to establish a spin-off—together with you.









Be part of change

* You will develop and validate the business model (value proposition, pricing, go-to-market strategy)
* You will be responsible for the ongoing development of the business plan
* Your responsibilities will include customer acquisition, building scalable sales pipelines, and securing VC and grant funding
* You will help shape the technology roadmap together with the development team
* You will prepare and conduct demos, trade shows, and partner workshops





What you contribute

* You hold a master’s degree or equivalent (Master’s / Diplom (Univ.)) in
Industrial Engineering,
or a technical degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Engineering, Materials Science) combined with an MBA
or a comparable qualification with a proven strong technical and business focus
* In addition, you have a proven track record in customer acquisition, VC/investor meetings, and grant applications
* Preferably, you have in-depth knowledge of laser technology and optics and, ideally, initial experience in industrial production
* Ideally, you also have German and English language skills at the C2 level

The weekly working time is 39 hours. This position is also available on a part-time basis. The position is a fixed-term contract ending on September 30, 2027. Employment, compensation, and benefits are governed by the collective bargaining agreement for the public sector (TVöD).
