WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer who has strong programming fundamentals and a desire to grow in modern infrastructure, full-stack development. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in software development and an interest in working with containerized applications and Kubernetes.
You'll work closely with an agile team to evolve and maintain an existing system automation solution in the Galileo project and contribute across the stack.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer with background and interest in the Galileo project.
If this position sounds like a perfect fit for you, here's what we're looking for:
Programming & Algorithms: Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and clean code practices; experience with modern languages (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Golang, Java) and independently writing, testing, and debugging applications.
Frontend Development: Experience with or similar frameworks, integrating APIs with user interfaces, and using frontend build tools like Webpack.
Containers & API Development: Basic knowledge of Docker for containerized development; experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, HTTP methods, status codes, and API design.
Learning & Adaptability: Curious and eager to learn modern cloud-native tools and architectures; open to feedback and asking questions.
Teamwork & Problem Solving: Proactive problem-solving, ownership mindset, clear communication, and collaborative work in cross-functional teams
We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:
* Golang, Python, TypeScript; exposure to Kafka.
* Basic usage of pods, deployments, services; interest in application lifecycle management.
* CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI); version control workflows (Git, PR-based).
