ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology Enabler for smaller, more powerful, and more energy-efficient microchips
Around 80 percent of all microchips worldwide are produced using ZEISS technologies. As the centerpiece of every electronically controlled system, they have become an integral part of our everyday lives – whether in smartphones, smart homes or smart factories. ZEISS is a technology leader in the field of semiconductor manufacturing equipment. With high-precision lithography optics, photomask systems and process control solutions, ZEISS enables the production of ever smaller, increasingly powerful, and more energy-efficient microchips, and thus plays a pivotal role in the age of micro- and nanoelectronics.
As an Enterprise Architect, you act as a crucial bridge between our sophisticated business processes and their technological implementation. You translate strategic requirements from the business into future-proof architecture solutions and ensure that our IT landscape generates maximum value for the company. Business, IT, Data and Cyber Security.
Act as the central architecture contact for projects in our core areas (e.g. Develop and maintain roadmaps / target landscape plans and reference architectures for specific business areas, in order to create transparency across the entire application and technology landscape and to support strategic architecture decisions.
Work very closely with business analysts, process owners, and IT, data and security specialists to design integrated and sustainable solutions.
A successfully completed degree in Business Informatics / Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration with a strong IT focus, or a comparable qualification.
At least 5 years of professional experience in designing business processes and mapping them into IT systems, ideally in companies with complex industrial manufacturing; Strong analytical skills, a proactive and solution-oriented working style, as well as business-fluent German and English language skills (spoken and written).
