Research Scientist Position in Magnetism and Nanotechnology
We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team at the University of Luxembourg. The successful candidate will work on a theory project focused on magnetism and nanotechnology, with an emphasis on understanding the properties of nanoparticles.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in condensed-matter physics and materials science, with expertise in numerical simulations and analytical calculations. A Master's degree is required, and proficiency in languages such as Python or C++ would be beneficial.
About the Project
1. This research project aims to investigate the relationship between intrinsic magnetic properties of individual nanoparticles and their collective behavior within ordered assemblies.
2. The goal is to develop theoretical models that can accurately predict the dynamic behavior of these systems, taking into account factors like temperature, size, shape, and surface defects.
3. We also aim to explore how these magnetic structures influence transport phenomena across interfaces separating different types or environments within complex architectures formed by particles interacting strongly enough through fields here produced specially towards thin layers deposited onto continuous metallic substrates away etc…"],
