The opportunity:
We are seeking a talented Test and Validation Systems Engineer for a key role in a prestigious vehicle development project. The candidate will join a project team in Gaimersheim, Germany, and actively support the development and coordination of testing activities for the integration of complex cross-functional features.
This role offers the opportunity to directly contribute to the verification and testing of innovative vehicle solutions, ensuring all requirements are met and systems operate as intended.
Your key responsibilities:
• Manage and perform testing and validation activities on cross-functional features (e.g., Online Remote Update, Diagnostics, Networking) from a whole-vehicle perspective.
• Prepare vehicles in line with specific software bundles and define and execute test plans (manual and automated).
• Oversee and monitor test activities, providing support and coordination.
• Analyze results, identify and track anomalies, and perform first-level troubleshooting.
• Produce accurate test reports and technical documentation.
• Execute tests on electrical systems, charging, diagnostics, networking, and software updates.
Must-have requirements:
• German language proficiency at C2 level (MANDATORY).
• Excellent English proficiency (recommended).
• Proven experience in vehicle testing activities and first-level analysis.
• Willingness to travel for short trips.
• Category B driving license (MANDATORY).
Preferred skills and knowledge:
• Familiarity with the working models and regulations of major German OEMs (e.g., AUDI, VW).
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Experience with diagnostic and development tools (e.g., Idex, ODIS, CPTool).
• Knowledge of cross-specifications (networking, diagnostics, software updates).
• Ability to interpret vehicle test reports and understand vehicle integration test objectives, DTC tracking, and fault tracking.
• Prototype driving license (A PLUS).
