Job Description
Your Responsibilities
* Develop and optimize processes on state-of-the-art plasma systems for dry-chemical structuring of optoelectronic components.
* Lead the planning, execution, analysis, and documentation of plasma process development activities.
* Drive continuous process improvement and contribute to next‑generation VCSEL and photodiode technologies.
* Share expertise by training production personnel and transferring developments into international manufacturing environments.
* Collaborate closely with development teams and related frontend engineering departments.
* Identify and evaluate new technologies through external technology scouting to further strengthen our manufacturing capabilities.
Qualifications
What We Are Looking For
* Completed university degree (Master’s or Diploma) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field.
* Knowledge of plasma technology.
* Experience in modern semiconductor device manufacturing and/or optoelectronics.
* Familiarity with statistical process control.
* Independent, solution‑oriented, and responsible working style.
* Strong teamwork skills and excellent communication abilities.
* Proficient spoken and written English.
