About the Job Bridgecom Semiconductors is a growing tech startup specializing in 5G semiconductors, with locations in Munich and Linz. We are actively looking for a motivated HR & Business Operations generalist reporting directly to our managing director in Munich. This role requires a balance of strategic HR knowledge and hands-on administrative support to foster a positive work environment and contribute to the organization’s growth. You'll work with the Bridgecom leadership team in Munich and Linz — a unique opportunity to gain direct insights into top-level activities. Your Responsibilities Management support in people management and general business operations. Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Manage recruitment and selection processes, including job postings, interviews, onboarding, and offboarding. Maintain employee records and ensure HR databases are accurate and up to date. Administer compensation (incl. payroll), benefits, and performance management systems. Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and internal policies for Germany and Austria. Assist with training and development programs to enhance employee skills and engagement. Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation for management. Perform local team assistance, office and facility management tasks. Support public research funding and allowance (Forschungszulage) applications for Germany. Administer invention disclosures and manage patent application processes with our IP office. Monitor and manage daily incoming correspondence, ensuring timely communication with relevant public institutions. Your Profile Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices. Experience in employee engagement, talent management, and policy development. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. Experince with engineeering organisations in an cross side / cross geo set up is a plus. Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite. Work experience in general office administration. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Fluent in English and German. Education and Experience Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Economics, or related field. Minimum of 3 years experience in HR roles (generalist or similar). HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
