Job Description:
The Yard Operations Manager role is a critical position that requires strong leadership skills, analytical thinking, and excellent communication abilities. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing yard operations, ensuring seamless flow of trucks in and out of the facility, and mitigating customer experience risks.
You will work closely with site leadership to improve on-time performance, safety metrics, and customer satisfaction. Your ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and drive resolution will be essential in this role.
The ideal candidate will have a background in transportation operations, logistics, or supply chain management, with experience in process improvement, data analysis, and team leadership. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is required, as well as basic knowledge of SQL or Access.
