Responsibilities:
1. Creation, optimization, and maintenance of CNC machining programs using the TopSolid CAM system
2. Definition and application of efficient manufacturing strategies based on 3D CAD data
3. Selection of suitable tools, cutting parameters, and workholding equipment, taking into account cost, tool life, and machining quality
4. Use and maintenance of tool data in the TDM system for seamless utilization in CAM, simulation, tool presetting, and production
5. Participation in the standardization of machining strategies, templates, and program structures
6. Documentation and continuous improvement of programming standards, as well as active contribution to digitalization projects in the production environment
7. Coordination and close collaboration with design, work preparation, production, quality assurance, and tool presetting
8. Ordering and specification of workholding equipment in cooperation with fixture and tooling design
9. Support in the introduction of new tools, machines, and machining technologies
10. Training and support of production employees regarding program changes and technological questions
Qualifications:
11. Completed vocational training in a technical field (e.g., cutting machine operator, industrial mechanic)
12. Completed further training as a technician (m/f/d) or several years of professional experience in CNC/CAM programming
13. Very good knowledge of 3-/5‑axis machining in milling, turning, and ideally complete machining
14. Solid experience with CAM systems – preferably TopSolid
15. Experience with tool data management systems and ERP systems (e.g., TDM Systems, TopSolid, SAP) is desirable
16. Ability to interpret technical drawings, 3D models, and tolerance specifications
17. Confident handling of 3D CAD systems as well as experience working with CAD data (e.g., model validation, collision detection, design changes)
18. Structured, independent working style combined with teamwork skills and a strong sense of responsibility
19. Willingness to work in a two‑shift operation
