Our Chemicals Europe team is looking for a new Sales Development Representative (f/m/d) to own and drive the growth of new customers within the region.
How you will contribute:
1. Focusing on the DACH regions, you will also promote the establishment of new customer relationships and the development of new product opportunities.
2. Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails. In doing so, you will act in a motivated and creative way with regards to the application and implementation of product & local strategies
3. You will be responsible for managing leads through the sales pipeline by setting appointments, following up on opportunities, and tracking progress towards meeting sales goals.
4. Uncover information regarding customers’ present and anticipated needs in the responsible market segment, market trends as well as developing appropriate sales strategies and measures together with the team.
5. You will act as a customers' interface to the areas of business development, product management and supply chain to provide the best possible customer solutions that match our product and service offerings.
Your profile:
6. Following your business studies or comparable formal sales training, you have already gained years of professional experience in sales, procurement or marketing of products in the chemical industry.
7. Furthermore you possess knowledge of sales process within the chemical industry, while demonstrating a high level of competence in the negotiation of supply and sales contracts.
8. You can act flexibly, adapt quickly to new framework conditions and different stakeholders respect you as a reliable and trustworthy partner.
9. You approach existing and new business contacts with an open mind. You have a team-oriented attitude, proactive and willing to take on new challenges and risks.
10. Strong communication skills and an ability to multi-task
11. Proficient in English & German
12. Good knowledge and experience using common IT applications (MS Office, Salesforce, SAP or similar).
