Banking Center Manager @ Wiesbaden (Hainerberg) Shopping Center (Germany), Full-Time 40 hours per week.

(This is a temporary position until 31 December 2026.)

Banking Center Manager (OT4)

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Lead and develop center (MBU) associates and operations with responsibility for ensuring efficient and compliant processes/procedures, managing security, financial and reputational risk while fulfilling the financial needs of the individual and organizational customer; and directing activities in support of business development, community involvement and Command relations within Bank and DFAS contract/budget limits. Position responsibilities include all tasks and skills included in the Banking Center Operations Supervisor, Banking Center Service Coordinator and Banking Center Service Specialist job descriptions. This position may have responsibility for MBU(s).

General Tasks and Skills

* Exercise overall responsibility for the proper level of center oversight.
* Controls are in place and practiced to ensure processes, procedures and supporting documentation are conducted accurately and in a timely manner
* Risk is minimized for center and reporting MBUs, as applicable.
* Guidance and direction is provided to ensure associates maintain a strong focus on our mission to identify and deliver practical solutions to customers that meet their individual financial needs in a manner that makes it easy to do business with the Bank.
* Conduct ongoing review to ensure optimal efficiency in cash management processes.

Ensure assigned cash limits for banking center, ATMs and cash handling associates are adhered to and properly managed based on actual cash needs.

Exercise overall responsibility for the timely and correct submission of:

BC/ATM Cash Limit – Permanent/Temporary Exception Requests

BC Cash Over-Limit forms

* Ensure Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance and exercise overall responsibility for the timely and correct submission of:

Currency Transaction Reports

Transaction Review Forms

* Maximize ATM usage and availability, ensure proper marketing materials are displayed and professional site appearance is consistently maintained.
* Work together with L.O. and other community and command representatives to address issues regarding operational and service delivery and keep CMM updated on issues, as appropriate.
* Handle customer complaints/issues and ensure comment cards are processed professionally and in a timely manner.
* Actively participate and contribute to weekly Market Calls.
* Detailed completion of the (Operational) Structured Coaching Process form and Leader's Questionnaire to include the pre-work assigned to the BCM or Supervisor. Best practices and constructive feedback should be shared to improve process.
* Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Risk Management and Operational Excellence

* Exercise overall responsibility for associate health, safety and security.
* Perform secured area inspections as required and confirm protection is afforded to associates, assets and sensitive information by physically checking doors or barriers to ascertain lock and alarm component functionality.
* Correct handling of alarm outage situations, to include timely and accurate reporting.
* Analyze processes/procedures to prevent security violations which could result in risk or loss to the Bank and initiate actions to correct.
* Meet or exceed operational performance goals as measured by the Banking Center Control Review (BCCR).

Service Delivery

* Deploy and deepen Playbook behaviors.
* Effectively lead from the lobby.
* Ensure that the Associate Skills Checklist is routinely utilized by all center leaders to validate service delivery expectations.
* Routinely conduct meaningful huddles.
* Proactive involvement and participation in community events and major social activities to promote the brand, leveraging Town Hall, Deployment and Newcomer's Briefing opportunities.

Business Development

* Be proactive in identifying ways to increase deposit and credit balances to meet established goals.
* Monitor performance by utilizing available measurement tools.
* Foster ongoing communication and interaction with external business partners to effectively leverage the business relationship, including conducting business calls, courtesy visits and delivering presentations.
* Conduct routine automobile dealer visits to establish rapport and generate business and arrange and participate in sales campaigns.External Representation
* Ensure local Command officials understand the Bank's mission and Overseas Military Banking Program and regularly meet to discuss relevant issues and service delivery.

Training

* Exercise overall responsibility for associate training and development.


•Lead the associate training experience by monitoring progress and performing knowledge check-ins to confirm
•associate understanding.

Ensure coaches are performing expected tasks for all associates.

* Ensure associates complete mandatory training on time.
* Identify areas where training needs (gaps) exist and actively seek solutions.

Supervisory

* Has technical, disciplinary and associate developmental responsibility for assigned associates. May include MBU(s).
* Effectively manage budgeted FTE and remain within authorized limits.
* Recruit, interview and select center, or reporting MBU(s) associates.
* Possess thorough knowledge of Human Resources (HR) processes by completing and preparing the entire range of HR documents for center associates, including but not limited to:

New Hire

Non-Salary Report of Hours

ECS and Discontinuation Forms

Associate work schedules

Annual vacation plan

Subordinate performance reviews

Tariff and company agreement provisions

Disciplinary actions

* Award Associate Recognition e-cards recognizing associates or teams in centers, District and Home Office, and submit Quarterly Associate Nominations.
* Lead all associates to demonstrate a commitment to Diversity and Inclusion (D&I), and model behaviors which value each individual for their unique contribution and create an environment that allows each associate to reach their potential.
* Take personal ownership for realizing the power of people through inclusion; improves workforce diversity and creates an inclusive workplace where every associate feels respected and valued.
* Replace CMM, if necessary.

Knowledge & Skills

* Minimum of three years banking supervisory experience building, leading, managing and coaching a team.
* Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with others outside of reporting authority to achieve goals.
* Have detailed knowledge of all operations or equivalent financial institution experience and/or previous management experience desired to include but not limited to:

All banking center manuals, policies, procedures

Human Resources policies and host country employment laws

U.S. & local banking regulations

Baseline Microsoft Office knowledge

* Undergraduate diploma, banking degree or equivalent required.
* Excellent leadership, management and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to lead a culturally diverse group.
* Strong organizational, planning, decision making and time management techniques. Ability to analyze and interpret information.
* Strong communication skills (including verbal, non-verbal, written and presentation and active listening skills.
* Manage change within the organization.

Required skills:

* Business relevant associates' degree (examples: business management, business administration, finance) Experience can be substituted for education on a two (2) years' experience to one (1) year education, thus 4 years' specialized experience with no associates' degree.
* A minimum five (5) years' sales and/or customer service experience
* A minimum of three years' recent experience building, leading, managing and coaching a team
* Proven results exceeding goals in a customer-centric, results-driven environment
* Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with others outside of reporting authority to achieve shared goals
* Proven customer service skills and the ability to resolve problems independently or escalate as appropriate
* Strong financial and business acumen
* Proven record of balancing risk and making sound decisions while achieving business goals
* Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to easily engage others in dialogue, convey sincere interest in building/deepening relationships and demonstrate a commitment to providing personalized service
* Strong organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize and delegate while delivering results
* Strong communication skills (including verbal, non-verbal, written and presentation) and active listening skills
* Proficiency in computer skills and professional programs (for example, Microsoft Office)
* Availability to work extended hours as required to run the business

Desired skills:

* Business relevant Bachelor's degree
* Current Banking Center Manager experience strongly preferred
* Experience in the following industries: consumer banking/financial services, mortgage, retail, hospitality or military.
