The selected candidate will support the sales team to plan and execute brand marketing campaigns that attract potential clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating marketing content and distributing it effectively. You will help us create a strong brand presence with innovative promotional offerings, online and offline marketing campaigns, and marketing events. You will collaborate with the sales team to ensure that your marketing efforts support their sales efforts. Finally, your analytical skills will assist you as you monitor and report on the success of your marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
Localization and Execution of HQ Brand Strategy
* Conduct in-depth analysis of the global brand strategy, positioning, and communication guidelines set by Headquarters.
* Develop localized brand implementation plans tailored to the German market, considering its cultural context, consumer habits, competitive landscape, and regulations, ensuring the accurate adaptation of the HQ brand concept.
* Support the planning and execution of brand activities in the German market, including product launches, industry exhibitions, and brand campaigns.
* Oversee the entire process to ensure quality and effectiveness, enhancing brand awareness, reputation, and market share in Germany.
* Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of localized brand strategies and activities.
* Collect market feedback and data, and optimize strategies based on analysis to ensure the continuous enhancement of the brand's competitiveness in Germany.
Frontline Information Collection and Reporting
* Closely monitor market dynamics, technological trends, competitor brand strategies, product movements, and market share changes within the German photovoltaic industry.
* Establish a robust information collection mechanism to ensure timeliness, accuracy, and comprehensiveness.
* Proactively communicate with local clients, partners, industry associations, media, and other relevant stakeholders in Germany to gather feedback on the company's brand and products, identifying potential market needs and collaboration opportunities.
* Regularly compile and analyze collected frontline information into standardized market reports.
* Provide timely updates to Headquarters, offering strong data support and decision-making references for formulating or adjusting global brand strategies, product R&D directions, and market plans.
Cross-Department Collaboration and Brand Maintenance
* Maintain efficient communication and close collaboration with relevant departments at HQ (e.g., Marketing, Product, Business) to ensure brand promotion activities in Germany align with overall business plans and product launch schedules.
* Collaborate on cross-regional brand projects.
* Responsible for maintaining and managing the brand image in the German market.
* Promptly report potential negative information or crisis events related to the brand and provide recommendations for crisis response.
* Build and maintain a network of brand partnerships in Germany, including media, KOLs, and channel partners, to expand brand communication channels and enhance brand influence in the local market.
Qualifications
* Work Location Requirement: Based in Frankfurt am Main. Must be familiar with the local living environment, business culture, and market rules in Germany. Must possess valid legal work and residence authorization for Germany. Local German candidates are preferred.
* Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in the photovoltaic industry, with relevant experience in brand management or marketing/promotion in an overseas market. Deep understanding of photovoltaic technology, product portfolios, market demands, and industry dynamics, with the ability to accurately grasp industry trends.
* Language Skills: Excellent command of both English and German, with proficiency in using both for business communication, copywriting, conducting meetings, and negotiations. Must be able to communicate fluently in both languages as working languages.
* Communication Skills: Outstanding cross-cultural communication skills, capable of effectively navigating communication differences and collaboration challenges across cultures. Skilled at building and maintaining good relationships with HQ teams, local German partners, and clients to drive efficient work progress.
* Adaptability to Work Rhythm: Ability to quickly adapt to the work pace and corporate culture of a Chinese company. (short-term trips within China and Europe).
* Professional Competence: Solid theoretical knowledge and practical experience in brand management. Familiar with the entire process of brand positioning, communication, maintenance, and market promotion. Strong market insight, data analysis, and strategic planning skills, with the ability to develop effective brand strategies in response to market changes.
* Personal Qualities: High sense of responsibility, professionalism, and team spirit. Proactive, innovative, and willing to take initiative. Strong problem-solving and project management abilities, capable of independently planning and executing brand projects for the German market.
