Physical Security at Deutsche Börse Group (DBG) is embedded within the Department of Group Security and ensures the mitigation of operational risks for all physical assets, including staff, sites, and events at a global range. As part of our team, you will take a decisive role in applying a holistic risk management approach and merging the interests of internal and external stakeholders to make corporate sites and events a safe place for employees and visitors. We are looking for a hands-on Physical Security Specialist with excellent analytical thinking and a strong team spirit.
Your responsibilities:
Physical Site Management
1. Maintaining and developing physical site security policies, guidelines, and processes compliant with regulatory requirements and international standards
2. Steering and coordinating third-party vendors at selected DBG locations
3. Coordinating internal and external audits, including remediation measures within designated timelines
4. Monitoring and critically analysing existing operational security processes and measures
5. Collaborating with other Group Security teams such as Access Control, Technical Security, Threat Intelligence, and DBG stakeholders such as Facility Management, Group Legal, Communications, Event Services, or other departments
6. Building strong relations with external stakeholders such as law enforcement and emergency services
Event Risk Management
7. Maintaining and developing event risk management policies, guidelines, and processes compliant with regulatory requirements and international standards
8. Conducting risk assessments for events either hosted or joined by DBG staff
9. Preparing security concepts for events and implementing security measures together with internal and external stakeholders
10. Steering and coordinating third-party vendors onsite during business events
Risk Assessments
11. Conducting risk assessments at Deutsche Börse Group sites worldwide to determine the physical security classifications of buildings and resulting risks
12. Ensuring that identified physical security risks are transferred to the central risk register and are treated in accordance with the remediation plan and relevant risk appetite
Your profile:
13. 3+ years of experience in corporate physical security, preferably in a global environment
14. 1+ year of experience in steering third-party vendors
15. A completed undergraduate degree in security management or other related fields is required, preferably a postgraduate degree
16. Relevant certifications in risk management and crisis management are a strong asset
17. Basic knowledge of security technologies for access control and CCTV monitoring
18. Project management and problem-solving skills
19. Analytical mindset with attention to detail
20. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work with diverse stakeholders
21. Independent and structured working approach with an approachable mindset and a strong willingness to compromise
22. Advanced knowledge of MS 365, including Microsoft Office suite (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) and SharePoint
23. High proficiency in German and English
