We support our customers with customized IT solutions in the areas of basic, operating system, and database infrastructure, from consulting to IT operations. The network operations team manages and documents the entire network infrastructure, assists in identifying and resolving network problems or malfunctions, and is responsible for ensuring the necessary network capacity for the DRV Bund and the joint data center of the German Pension Insurance. Your tasks Installing, configuring, and operating network components (focus on Cisco) Designing, developing, and maintaining automation scripts (e.g., Ansible, Python) Monitoring and controlling the network infrastructure, problem analysis and troubleshooting of a high degree of difficulty Implementing and monitoring IT security standards in accordance with BSI basic protection guidelines for critical infrastructures (KRITIS) Collaborating on IT projects These tasks require a willingness to participate in on-call duty and, in urgent cases, to work outside of regular working hours (e.g., on weekends). Your profile Successfully completed university education (bachelor's or diploma degree) in the IT field or comparable qualification (e.g., IT-specific qualification) or completed vocational training in the IT field or comparable practical experience of several years in the IT field. Several years of relevant professional experience.
