Hauptaufgaben Serves as Supply Technician working in the Centralized Furniture Warehouse Office (CFMO), responsible for performing supply duties in support of Army Family Housing (AFH) and Unaccompanied Housing (UPH) Furniture and Appliance mission. Supply duties include review, edit, receipt, control, and processing of requisitions, delivery and turn-in actions, maintenance of control documents, inventory of total furniture support/available-and issued, validation of hand-receipts. Using the enterprise Military Housing (eMH) automation computer program and updating the required actions. Is required to operate GFE 4-6K Forklift. Monitors and controls available contractors on a day-to-day basis during handling and movement of furnishings and appliances/equipment. Receives documentation prior to delivery and pick up, establishes route of work performance. Responsible to Utilizes the eMH automation system to account for all furniture movements, inventories and verifies correctness of type/size/color of furniture/appliance received or to be issued, responsible to label correctly all AFH and UPH items using the label maker and importing items into the eMH system. Checks for spoilage, loss or damages and other discrepancies. Loads and unloads material and equipment to and from trucks, seal and containers. Moves boxes and cartons, assembles palletized materials and bulk items by handcarts, pallet movers and forklift. Packs and crates outgoing items as required. Reports to Ordering Officer daily deficiencies, type of work performance and work completion performed by commercial moving company. Coordinates the unloading/loading of items and determines proper storage space in accordance with supervisor's directives. Keeps survey roster and deterioration on such items. Participates in the assembly of outgoing items. Maintains utmost cleanliness in storage and distributions areas and provides for prevention of fire, safety, deterioration hazards and security of furnishings. Prepares storage and distribution areas for periodical and special inventories. Performs physical count of furnishings inventory. Check moving vans for required size, cleanliness, safety devices, availability of tools and material for protection of furniture and appliances.
