The company is seeking an experienced Bid Management Team Leader to take ownership of public sector bidding activities. The role is responsible for leading an established bid team and managing the full lifecycle of public tenders, from early opportunity identification through to compliant, on-time submission.
You will play a central role in defining bid strategy, coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring that all submissions meet legal, commercial, and technical requirements. This position combines people leadership with hands-on bid management and offers long-term responsibility within a stable and growing organisation.

Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop a team responsible for public sector bids and tenders
* Manage the full bid and tender lifecycle from early market analysis through to contract award
* Coordinate presales, technical, commercial, and delivery teams to produce compliant submissions
* Ensure adherence to public procurement regulations, legal requirements, and customer specifications
* Plan and control bid timelines, governance processes, and internal approvals
* Identify and manage risks and opportunities throughout the bidding process
* Ensure accurate, complete, and timely submission of all tender documentation
* Support early identification of relevant public sector opportunities
* Maintain strong relationships with public sector customers and strategic partners
* Contribute to strengthening the organisation’s reputation within the public sector market
Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in bid management, tender management, or proposal leadership
* Experience leading or professionally managing a bid or proposal team
* Strong knowledge of public sector procurement processes and regulations
* Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder bid environments
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Structured, detail-focused, and process-driven working style
* Ability to work independently while ensuring compliance and quality
