Your profile
* Master of Science degree in a technical field, preferably optical physics or engineering, with eligibility for PhD enrollment at German universities (3-year PhD project)
* Excellent command of English (spoken and written) and good in German
* Independent, proactive working style with high commitment and motivation
* Strong conceptual thinking and analytical skills
* Willingness to travel, including extended research stays at partner institutions
* Interest in interdisciplinary research and international collaboration
