Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, working as part of a team to achieve and meet their needs. Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining accurate records and preparing periodic funds valuations (Net Asset Value), year-end financial statements and other reports;
* Coordinating with third parties including depositaries, AIFMs, investors and clients;
* Assisting in the coordination of year-end audits;
* Preparing tax and VAT returns and maintaining relevant contact with the Luxembourg tax authorities and tax advisers;
* Acting as a contact person between shareholders, investment managers, AIFMs and custodian banks for resolution of any issues that may arise.
To excel in this role, you should hold a degree in Accounting, Audit or Economics and have 0-2 years of relevant experience in alternative investment fund administration, audit firms or domiciliation. Knowledge of fund industry, valuation, accounting and fluency in English and German are essential.
