Job Opportunity:
BDO Luxembourg is seeking an HR Business Partner to support business leaders and managers on human resources-related matters.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, career development, and offboarding processes.
They will also coordinate performance reviews, provide coaching to managers and employees, and drive employee engagement initiatives to foster retention and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of labour laws and human resources best practices, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
They will be fluent in French and English, with German being a plus.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and managers on human resources-related matters
* Manage the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, integration follow-up, performance management, career development, and offboarding processes
* Coordinate and facilitate performance reviews; ensure that performance appraisal criteria are consistently applied at firm level; provide coaching to managers and employees
* Act as a key point of contact for employees, actively listen to their needs, provide support, and address their concerns to ensure their well-being and motivation
* Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster retention and contribute to a positive workplace culture
* Advise on human resources policies, employment law, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks
* Analyze human resources metrics and provide insights to support business decision-making
Required Qualifications:
* Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
* Have 2-4 years of experience in an HRBP or generalist HR role, preferably within professional services, finance, or consulting
* Have a strong understanding of labour laws and human resources best practices
* Build strong relationships and advise stakeholders at all levels
* Act as a team player and be recognized for excellent skills in communicating and working easily with others
* Have the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
* Demonstrate a proactive mindset with problem-solving skills, ability to work independently, and manage multiple priorities
* Fluent in French and English; German is a plus
